New to Theatres This Weekend: Rogue One: A Star Wars Story, Collateral Beauty, Fences

There’s a new Star Wars movie arriving in theatres this weekend, and although that statement is slowly starting to lose a little bit of its lustre, there’s still plenty of excitement in the air. Rogue One: A Star Wars Story is expected to bring in the biggest opening weekend of the year, but there is one A-list star brave enough to go head to head with it. That A-list star is Will Smith, who stars in the faux inspirational drama Collateral Beauty, which seems to be getting pretty terrible reviews across the board. Kenneth Lonergan’s Manchester by the Sea is also expanding nationwide. In select theatres we have Denzel Washington’s Fences and the Patricia Highsmith adaptation A Kind of Murder starring Patrick Wilson and Jessica Biel. What will you be watching this weekend? Feel free to get the Rogue One discussion started in the comments below.
