Spawn, Tank Girl, Barbedwire, Mystery Men, Rocketeer, The Mask, Men in Black, The Shadow, The Phantom, Steel, Judge Dredd, Guyver 1 & 2 and The Crow

I have a DVD copy of the directorial debut of Australian Director Stephen Hopkins called Dangerous Game. Dangerous Game is kind of like the movie Chopping Mall but with a psychopathic motorcyle cop replacing the malfunctioning robots. Stephen Hopkins would then go onto make some fantastic American produced films including Ghost and the Darkness, Judgement Night, Predator 2, Blown Away, A nightmare on elm st 5 the dream child and the scifi masterpiece Lost in Space only to wither away and die in the land of episodic tv. The DVD packaging for Dangerous Game is a disaster. Its thinner and taller then your standard DVD case and the spine printing is upside-down. The reverse insert can only be accessed by seperating two plastic locked in pieces, similar to the CD audio plastic cases.

Should I A) just flip it upside down so the text is the same direction as everything else. B) Attempt to Infiltrate the back insert, And if successful carefully slice the spine apart and reverse it so it’s the correct direction C) same as B but if destroying the case get a normal DVD case and trim where necessary to fit the contents within or D) just throw it out knowing that this movie will never ever see the light of day on Blu Ray or 4K and bare witness to the passing of a piece of film history, because the only thing that really matters in the end is how good a movie looks, even if it’s a piece of shit film, if it has a nice transfer then it deserves to be in your collection, but if it’s DVD quality it should be looked upon with disgust.
