The first teaser trailer for Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 is here! Although it’s a bit short on action and plot details (as you would expect from a teaser), there is still some intriguing imagery that hints at what is to come. It also brings back a familiar song and that irreverent tone that set it apart from so many other Marvel movies. Unfortunately, there is no hint of Baby Groot here (edit: aside from a stinger at the very end), nor do we get any glimpses of Kurt Russell or Sylvester Stallone, but we do get a strong indication that Nebula (Karen Gillan) and Yondu (Michael Rooker) will have bigger roles this time around. Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 hits theatres on May 5th, 2017; check out the first trailer after the jump and let us know what you think.
