Three more major releases ride into theatres this weekend headed for a showdown with The Magnificent Seven. Tim Burton’s latest film Miss Peregrine’s Home for Peculiar Children seems to be on track for an easy victory, although Peter Berg’s Deepwater Horizon disaster movie starring Mark Wahlberg is getting stronger reviews. Meanwhile Jared Hess’s latest comedy Masterminds is also out this weekend after being delayed for nearly a year, which definitely won’t work in its favour. In select theatres, we also have Andrea Arnold’s American Honey and Denial starring Rachel Weisz, Timothy Spall and Tom Wilkinson. What will you be watching this weekend?
