Jim Jarmusch’s Paterson Trailer Starring Adam Driver

Following up on the trailer for his Stooges doc Gimme Danger, Amazon has also released the first trailer for Jim Jarmusch’s upcoming film Paterson this week. The movie stars Adam Driver as a bus driver named Paterson who also happens to live in the city of Paterson, New Jersey. In his spare time, he scribbles poetry in a notebook but never gives much thought to sharing it with others until his wife Laura (Golshifteh Farahani) pushes him to take it more seriously. Taking place over the span of a week, this looks to be a quiet tribute to the beauty of everyday life that also champions our innate need for creative expression. Considering the fact that Adam Driver’s career has made the jump to major blockbusters, it’s cool to see him also continuing to take on more intimate roles like this. Paterson hits select theatres on Dec. 28th; check out the trailer after the jump and see what you think.
