There’s no question that Fifty Shades of Grey was a huge hit last year, pulling in $571 million worldwide and finishing just outside the global box office top 10. But now that our curiosity has been satisfied, will anyone actually turn up to see the sequel? Wait… don’t answer that. Fifty Shades Darker continues the “unconventional” romance between Anastasia Steele and Christian Grey and apparently the new plot development this time around is that Anastasia has to deal with Christian’s jealous ex-girlfriend as well as an Eyes Wide Shut-style masquerade ball. Scintillating stuff. Directed by James Foley (Glengarry Glen Ross, Perfect Stranger), Fifty Shades Darker hits theatres on Feb. 10th; check out the first trailer after the jump and see what you think.
