It’s shaping up to be a slow weekend at the box office as returning champ Don’t Breathe should easily defeat all newcomers. The two major releases hitting theatres are Luke Scott’s sci-fi thriller Morgan and Derek Cianfrance’s romantic drama The Light Between Oceans starring Michael Fassbender and Alicia Vikander. Both movies are pulling in mixed reviews although the latter just currently turned the corner to a positive Tomatometer rating. In select theatres, keep an eye out for Kevin Smith’s horror comedy Yoga Hosers, the Danish comedy Klown Forever and Alexandre Aja’s thriller The 9th Life of Louis Drax, plus Skiptrace starring Jackie Chan and Johnny Knoxville, and Max Rose, Jerry Lewis’ first movie in nearly two decades.
