Following up on the teaser trailer that was released during Comic-Con, this week Marvel and Netflix have released a full trailer for their upcoming Luke Cage series. Mike Colter stars as the ex-con with superhuman strength and bulletproof skin who is determined to clean up the streets of Harlem, pitting him against crime boss Cornell “Cottonmouth” Stokes (Mahershala Ali). Rosario Dawson also reprises her role from Daredevil as Claire Temple while Simone Missick plays Misty Knight and it’s all set to a pretty killer score by Adrian Younge and Ali Shaheed Muhammad. Luke Cage is headed up by Cheo Hodari Coker (Southland, Ray Donovan) and the first two episodes are directed by Paul McGuigan (Sherlock, Lucky Number Slevin). All episodes will arrive on Netflix on Sept. 30th; check out the trailer after the jump and let us know what you think.
