Following up on the yuletide debauchery we saw in Jonathan Levine’s The Night Before, we’ve got another holiday-themed party comedy heading to theatres later this year that I am assuming will be rated R. This one appears to have even less plot, although it does have a pretty solid comedic cast which is probably all that matters. Directed by Josh Gordon and Will Speck (The Switch, Blades of Glory), Office Christmas Party stars Jason Bateman as a branch manager who is throwing an epic work party in order to land a big client against the wishes of his uptight CEO (Jennifer Aniston), who also happens to be his sister. The supporting cast includes T.J. Miller, Kate McKinnon, Olivia Munn, Jillian Bell, Rob Corddry, Matt Walsh and Jamie Chung. If you’re not yet sick of seeing comedies inspired by The Hangover, something tells me this could make a lot of money this December.
