I didn’t like the first Blair Witch, but I love the directors and this looks like there is more payoff than the first one. Went from not caring at all, to needing to see it after watching that.

Bored just looking at the trailer. It feels so acted. The great thing about the first BWP was that it did not. Pure mockumentary and the birth of found footage. Same feel to this one as any other mainstream horror these days.

Another beaut of the original was that it didn’t show ANYTHING. It was all in the mind of the viewer. And every time I revisit it, I keep thinking that I’ll see something there, in the utter darkness of the woods. What a great film it is. This one, however, probably is not.
