Well you’ve gotta hand it to Vin Diesel… somehow he has managed to get people excited about the return of one of the more ridiculous action movie franchises of the 2000s. xXx: Return of Xander Cage finds him once again taking on the role of extreme sports athlete turned secret agent Xander Cage, but instead of trying to rein it in, he is simply embracing the insanity. I mean, the first trailer involves skiing through a jungle and a motorcycle chase across water… need I say more? Samuel L. Jackson is also back as NSA Agent Augustus Eugene Gibbons and Donnie Yen and Tony Jaa co-star, although sadly Ice Cube is not involved. xXx: Return of Xander Cage is directed by D.J. Caruso (Eagle Eye) and hits theatres on Jan. 20th; check out the trailer after the jump and let us know what you think.
