Anna Kendrick got her first big break with Jeffrey Blitz’s high school dramedy Rocket Science back in 2007, but now almost ten years later they are reuniting for another dramedy about social outcasts at a later stage in life. Written by The Duplass Brothers, Table 19 focuses on those folks who seems to fall outside the various social circles at a wedding, usually ending up at a table together with a bunch of strangers. Kendrick plays the girl who was supposed to be the maid of honor and finds herself relegated to this table after being dumped by the best man. With a very funny supporting cast that includes Stephen Merchant, Craig Robinson, Lisa Kudrow, Tony Revolori and June Squibb, this definitely has potential although the trailer seems to indicate that it may be a little more drama than comedy.
