Not a whole lot to get excited about this week in terms of DVD and Blu-ray releases, but there are a handful of indie and foreign titles that might pique your interest. The biggest release is probably By the Sea, Angelina Jolie’s vanity project that quietly came and went last year with little fanfare. Other new releases include Jason Bateman’s quirky dramedy The Family Fang, the Hank Williams biopic I Saw the Light starring Tom Hiddleston, and the mostly unnecessary Cabin Fever remake. Some of the interesting international releases include Stephen Chow’s comedic fantasy The Mermaid, the Oscar-nominated Brazilian animated film Boy & the World, and the long-awaited Studio Ghibli film Only Yesterday. On the small screen we also have House of Cards: Season 4, and on Blu-ray, Arthur Hiller’s The In-Laws and the 42nd (?) Anniversary Edition of The Taking of Pelham One Two Three.
