It’s mostly smaller films hitting DVD and Blu-ray this week, but that doesn’t mean there isn’t some great stuff worth checking out. Jeff Nichols’ sci-fi film Midnight Special is hitting stores along with Terence Malick’s Knight of Cups starring Christian Bale, Norwegian disaster drama The Wave and Colombian epic Embrace Of The Serpent. We’ve also got a couple of poorly reviewed mainstream comedies in The Brothers Grimsby and My Big Fat Greek Wedding 2. TV releases include Togetherness: Season 2 and Workaholics: Season 6, and new to Blu-ray we’ve got Rene Laloux’s Fantastic Planet, The Crush starring Alicia Silverstone and the 1977 Sensurround thriller Rollercoaster.
