This Week on DVD and Blu-ray: 10 Cloverfield Lane, London Has Fallen, Eddie the Eagle
Monsters come in many forms this week as the Cloverfield spin-off / sequel / spiritual successor 10 Cloverfield Lane leads this week’s list of DVD and Blu-ray releases. Other major releases include action flick London Has Fallen and sports drama Eddie the Eagle along with The X-Files: The Event Series and the first season of the HBO comedy Ballers starring Dwayne Johnson. Some other noteworthy indie titles include 45 Years starring Charlotte Rampling and Tom Courtenay plus Michael Showalter’s Hello, My Name is Doris starring Sally Field. On Blu-ray, Universal is finally releasing the three Jaws sequels plus we also have Jeepers Creepers 2, Black Dog starring Patrick Swayze and Meatloaf, and both J.J. Abrams Star Trek movies in 4K.
