It’s a pretty huge week for DVD and Blu-ray releases (not to mention 4K) so I hope your wallet is ready. The biggest releases include Disney’s Zootopia (which just passed $1 billion at the worldwide box office), Michael Bay’s 13 Hours: The Secret Soldiers of Benghazi and The Coen Brothers’ Hail, Caesar! plus the new Extended Edition of Ridley Scott’s The Martian. There are also quite a few noteworthy indie releases out this week including Charlie Kaufman and Duke Johnson’s stop motion animated dramedy Anomalisa, Tobias Lindholm’s A War, and Win Wenders’ Every Thing Will Be Fine. TV releases include the first season of HBO’s Vinyl and the second season of Rick and Morty and on Ultra HD we’re finally getting our first real back catalog releases including Ghostbusters 1 and 2 plus Independence Day.
