In case you haven’t heard, here’s something to make it official: Sony is celebrating the start of production Danny Boyle’s upcoming Trainspotting sequel with a little teaser trailer of sorts. Granted, it’s made up entirely of footage from the previous film, but it should help remind you why the original was so beloved. The sequel will pick up twenty years later and is bringing back all of the original cast members including Ewan McGregor, Jonny Lee Miller and Robert Carlyle. It also seems to hint that the movie will actually be called T2… so I guess this means James Cameron doesn’t have a trademark on that one? T2 hits theatres in the UK on Jan. 27th, 2017; check out the announcement trailer after the jump and see what you think.
