Here’s the latest entry in the neverending wave of R-rated “party” comedies, this one apparently trying to appeal to the young mothers of the world who are dying for a guilt-free night away from all the rules and responsibilities of parenting. Mila Kunis, Kristen Bell and Kathryn Hahn play three moms who have had enough while Christina Applegate is the villain of the movie, the overbearing head of the PTA. Written and directed by Jon Lucas and Scott Moore, who also wrote The Hangover and The Change-Up, this movie looks like it is trying so hard to be outrageous but ultimately ends up feeling a little desperate.
