Netflix’s The Do-Over Teaser Trailer Starring Adam Sandler and David Spade

thedoover

Although critics were not too crazy about Netflix’s original Adam Sandler comedy Ridiculous 6 last year, Netflix was quick to inform the world that it had become their most watched movie of all time after just 30 days. Fortunately for them, they signed a deal with Adam Sandler’s Happy Madison Productions for three more original movies and the next one is due to be released in May. Entitled The Do-Over, it finds Sandler starring with David Spade as two friends who decide to fake their own deaths and start a new life. The first teaser trailer has been released online and while it doesn’t seem particularly funny, it does look a little more action-oriented than expected. Directed by Steven Brill (Little Nicky, Mr. Deeds), The Do-Over arrives on May 27th; check out the first teaser after the jump and see what you think.

    Does Frank like Adam Sandler?

So the King of Comedy moniker given to Frank is ironic?

I started watching the Ridiculous 6 and got through maybe 15 minutes. I just wanted to see if it was the usual Sandler crap and it didn’t disappoint in that respect. Netflix should release the statistics of how many people stopped watching and didn’t complete the film.

A question for the podcast maybe…. What actor or film makers should just retire and never make movies again? My choice is Adam…. Adam, please stop making movies.

I think the moniker is quite appropriate if one goes back and watches the deranged Rupert Pupkin character in The King Of Comedy.
