Max Landis’ Me Him Her Trailer

mehimher

We seem to be hearing Max Landis’ name mentioned more and more frequently these days, having written screenplays for Chronicle, American Ultra, Victor Frankenstein, the upcoming Mr. Right, David Ayer’s Bright and even the Power Rangers movie, apparently. What he hasn’t done up until now, however, is direct his own movie. That’s all about to change with Me Him Her, an off-kilter romantic comedy about a gay television star who enlists his best friend to help keep his sexuality a secret. With a cast that includes Luke Bracey, Dustin Milligan, Emily Meade, Haley Joel Osment, Alia Shawkat, Geena Davis, Scott Bakula and Lance Henriksen, this seems like an odd and frenetic little movie, although the trailer in particular seems to be doubling down on the weird. Me Him Her hits select theatres and VOD on March 11th; check out the trailer after the jump and see what you think.

Looks stinky, but I’ll plug his Superman: American Alien comic. Whatever you think of Landis, it’s great.

Other than chronicle his list of movie credits kind of suck and Chronicle was Ok not brilliant. So though I really like cutey Emily Meade this looks like it’s trying way to hard to be relevant.
