Predator Reboot Gets a Teaser Poster and a Possible Title

It’s been a year and a half since it was announced that Shane Black would be directing a Predator reboot for 20th Century Fox and co-writing the screenplay with Fred Dekker. Last summer we heard that the script was nearly complete and that it would supposedly reinvent the franchise in fresh and unexpected ways, but Black was also busy directing his next movie The Nice Guys. Now that things are winding down with that movie, it appears that the new Predator movie is gearing up again.

This week Fox has released a new teaser poster via their Facebook page accompanied by the caption “Here we go again, bro.” What’s more, it seems to reveal an official title for the new movie: The Predator. No other information has been made available and no release date has been set, but it seems like this could be Shane Black’s next movie which is exciting news indeed. Are you psyched for a Predator reboot? Check out the teaser image after the jump and let us know what you think.

Nice. When this will come into cinemas, it could lead to a Predator Premium. That would be nice. The movie, who cares.

A Predator premium would be pointless. The first one good, not great. The rest, shit.

A movie monster with a fandom that far outweighs the actual quality of his output.

  • Don’t forget AVP. That means Reed would have to come on the premium to defend it and show off his trading cards.

  • I think Predator 2 was a film that fulfilled my 12 year old wish list. It could be good analysing that.

  • Shane Blacks ‘Please’ line: “You’ll never see me coming”

I’m not psyched for a Predator reboot, but a Shane Black Predator movie sounds very interesting! :)
