Netflix’s Fuller House Gets a Fuller Trailer

After providing a couple of short teasers, this week Netflix has finally released a “fuller” trailer for their upcoming original series Fuller House. This is their continuation of the late ’80s / early ’90s sitcom with most of the original cast members returning including Bob Saget, John Stamos, Dave Coulier and Lori Loughlin. However, the story now focuses on D.J. Tanner (Candace Cameron Bure), her sister Stephanie (Jodie Sweetin) and lifelong best friend Kimmy Gibbler (Andrea Barber) who all move into a house together to help look after their own kids. The trailer premiered on Ellen and it is chock full of ’90s nostalgia… almost sickeningly so. Is this something people actually plan on watching or is it just something the internet will have a fleetingly ironic fascination with? I guess we’ll find out on Friday, February 26th. Check out the Fuller House trailer after the jump and let us know what you think.
