The Duplass Brothers are everywhere these days, so it should come as no surprise that when their TV series Togetherness returns next month on HBO, it will also be accompanied by a second show that they are producing. Animals is the brainchild of Phil Matarese and Mike Luciano and it is a collection of animated shorts focusing on the mundane life of animals in New York City. The animation is produced by Starburns Industries (Rick and Morty, Anomalisa) and the voice cast includes Ellie Kemper, Marc Maron, Wanda Sykes, Adam Scott, Aziz Ansari, Jon Lovitz, Rob Corddry, Meghan O’Neill, Katie Aselton and of course, Mark and Jay Duplass. Animals premieres on HBO on Feb. 5th; check out the trailer after the jump and see what you think.
