While James Wan was off filming Furious 7, a couple of his recent horror franchises stumbled without him as Insidious Chapter 3 and The Conjuring spin-off Annabelle were mostly seen as disappointments. Now Wan is back in the director’s chair for the official sequel to The Conjuring which focuses on the so-called “Enfield Poltergeist”, an entity that supposedly haunted a North London home back in 1977. Vera Farmiga and Patrick Wilson also return as paranormal investigators Lorraine and Ed Warren, but whether this movie will live up to the expectations from the original remains to be seen. The Conjuring 2 hits theatres on June 10th; check out the first trailer after the jump and let us know what you think.
