Daredevil Season 2 May Go Head to Head with Batman v Superman, New Photos Released

Update: Netflix has just released a teaser trailer that announces a release date of March 18th instead.
It may feel like ancient history now, but back in August of 2014 Warner Brothers made a big decision to move Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice from a May 6th, 2016 release date to March 25th, 2016. That allowed them to avoid a direct showdown with Marvel’s Captain America: Civil War, which likely would have hurt Warner Brothers a lot more than Marvel. Unfortunately for them, they may not have completely dodged that bullet after all. Marvel is now thinking about dropping the second season of Daredevil on Netflix on the same date. Considering that the new season introduces some big characters including Elektra and The Punisher, could this cut into the box office numbers for Batman v Superman?
The news comes courtesy of ComicBook.com, who claim to have heard from independent sources that Marvel and Netflix will debut the new season of Daredevil on March 25th, 2016. That coincides with other recent reports that season 2 would arrive sometime in March. Last week Marvel also released the first batch of photos from the second season, including our first look at Elodie Yung as Elektra and Jon Bernthal as The Punisher. What do you think, is this a smart move by Marvel? Are you more excited for Daredevil or Batman v Superman? Check out the new photos below.
