Werner Herzog’s Lo and Behold, Reveries of the Connected World Trailer

It seems hard to believe that it has already been about five years since Werner Herzog’s last non-fiction feature, Into the Abyss, but the good news is that he finally has a new documentary ready to drop and it is tackling a potentially fascinating topic. Herzog’s next doc is called Lo and Behold, Reveries of the Connected World and it examines the impact that the internet has made on our world and what this interconnectedness means for the future of humanity. In the hands of a different filmmaker, this could be completely generic or sensationalist, but I think we can trust Herzog to offer a unique and thoughtful perspective that reveals the deeper philosophical issues at hand. Lo and Behold, Reveries of the Connected World will premiere at Sundance in just a few weeks’ time; check out the trailer after the jump and let us know what you think.
