Last year there was plenty of criticism leveled at Michael Bay’s Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles reboot (much of it before the movie actually came out) but that ultimately didn’t stop people from paying to see it. Which is why next year we are getting a sequel: Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Out of the Shadows! The first trailer has arrived online this week and it is heavy on the fan service with the introduction of popular characters like Casey Jones (played by Arrow star Stephen Amell), Baxter Stockman (played by Tyler Perry) and, of course, Bebop and Rocksteady. While I didn’t completely love the last film, I did have a certain amount of fun with it and I’m holding out hope that the addition of director Dave Green (Earth to Echo) will be an improvement. Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Out of the Shadows hits theatres on June 3rd, 2016; check out the trailer after the jump and let us know what you think.
