We just wanted the magic of the original Trilogy. Not the mush/badly written/melodramatic/silly/overthetop/disillusioningmess/ that was the prequels.

The prequels were a fine example of Lucas not only loosing touch with filmmaking, but with the ideas and ideologies he set forth in the original movies…metachlorins anyone? Jar Jar?

Lucas seems to love casting the blame at everyone else but himself.
