It’s been almost a year since we saw the first trailer for Terrence Malick’s upcoming film Knight of Cups, and at the time we thought we would get to see this movie sometime in 2015. The movie did premiere at the Berlin Film Festival back in February but it is now finally set to be released early next year and we have a new official trailer to ogle. The movie stars Christian Bale as a Hollywood screenwriter who is drawn into a life of excess while also struggling with the emptiness he feels inside. Comparisons have already been made to La Dolce Vita (among other films), but it is the non-stop stream of immersive imagery that looks to set this one apart. Knight of Cups co-stars Cate Blanchett and Natalie Portman and it hits theatres on March 4th, 2016. Check out the new trailer after the jump and let us know what you think.
