Over the past few years, there has been a flurry of Hong Kong films being made about Yip Man, Bruce Lee’s former martial arts master. The one that started the craze was the 2008 film Ip Man starring Donnie Yen, which also spawned a sequel, but after starring in that sequel Yen vowed he would never play Yip Man again. Well, never say never, because now we’ve got a third installment on the way which will apparently find Yip Man facing off against a crooked property developer played by Mike Tyson. Something tells me these movies are getting farther and farther away from any sort of historical accuracy but I don’t hear anyone complaining. Ip Man 3 hits select theatres on Jan. 22nd; check out the trailer after the jump and let us know what you think.
