Disney’s Alice Through the Looking Glass Trailer

After releasing a handful of short teasers throughout the week, Disney has finally unveiled the first full trailer for their upcoming sequel to Tim Burton’s wildly successful Alice in Wonderland. The title Alice Through the Looking Glass would seem to imply that it is based on Lewis Carroll’s follow-up book Through the Looking-Glass, and What Alice Found There, although the previous film also contained elements of that book. Mia Wasikowska returns as Alice, while Johnny Depp, Helena Bonham Carter and Anne Hathaway reprise their roles as the Mad Hatter, Red Queen and White Queen respectively. There are also some new faces including Sacha Baron Cohen who apparently plays the personification of Time. James Bobin (The Muppets) takes over directing duties from Burton, but it does not look like the visuals have suffered as a result. Alice Through The Looking Glass hits theatres on May 27th; check out the trailer after the jump and let us know what you think.
