New to Theatres This Weekend: Burnt, Our Brand is Crisis, Scouts Guide to the Zombie Apocalypse

movies_burnt

Thanks to Halloween festivities, the last weekend in October is generally not a particularly busy one for movie theatres… which explains why the two biggest releases of the week are aimed at an older crowd. The chef drama Burnt starring Bradley Cooper goes nationwide this weekend, while David Gordon Green’s political dramedy Our Brand is Crisis starring Sandra Bullock is also debuting. There are a couple of horror comedies hitting theatres as well with Scouts Guide to the Zombie Apocalypse getting a wide release and Freaks of Nature opening on just over 100 screens. Overall though, most of these new releases will probably struggle to compete with The Martian and Goosebumps. If you’re looking for something completely different, in select theatres we also have Gaspar Noe’s 3D erotic drama Love. What will you be watching this weekend?
