It looks like Cameron Crowe is the latest respected filmmaker about to make the jump to TV, which is good timing for him considering that his most recent film Aloha was a box office disappointment. It was just announced earlier this week that Showtime had picked up his pilot Roadies to series and he responded by posting a short teaser trailer on his blog. (The trailer has since been pulled down but it keeps popping up elsewhere so watch it while you can.) The show is a one-hour ensemble comedy about a group of roadies for a major rock band that will no doubt draw from his experiences as a rock journalist. Roadies stars Carla Gugino, Imogen Poots, Luis Guzman and Luke Wilson and will premiere sometime in 2016. Check out the teaser after the jump and see what you think.
