If you’ve been anxiously awaiting the fourth season of the BBC’s Sherlock starring Benedict Cumberbatch and Martin Freeman, you may be disappointed to learn that it will probably not arrive until 2017. The good news, however, is that there will be a Sherlock Christmas special coming later this year and this week we’ve got the first full trailer. It’s a self-contained story that exists outside the continuity of the rest of the series, taking place in the Victorian Era instead of the usual modern day setting. The Sherlock special is expected to premiere sometime in December and will also play in select theatres; check out the trailer after the jump and let us know what you think.
