HBO unveiled a brand new trailer for Vinyl last night, their upcoming rock n roll drama set in 1970s New York City. Executive produced by Martin Scorsese, Mick Jagger and Terence Winter, the show stars Bobby Cannavale as the president of a fictional record label called American Century trying to adapt to the changing times. While this trailer mostly falls in line with what we’ve previously seen, it focuses a little more on the bands and their high energy live performances (one of the bands is fronted by Mick Jagger’s son James).
