You know it’s a good year when you have not one but two blood-soaked Kurt Russell westerns to look forward to. Bone Tomahawk premiered at Fantastic Fest earlier this week and although reviews were decidedly mixed it certainly had a lot of people talking. The film stars Kurt Russell as the sheriff of a small town where a young woman is kidnapped by a tribe of cannibalistic cave dwellers. From what we hear, the movie is pretty gruesome at times, but at the very least it should leave genre fans satisfied. Bone Tomahawk co-stars Patrick Wilson, Richard Jenkins, Matthew Fox, Lili Simmons, David Arquette and Sean Young and it hits select theatres and VOD on Oct. 23rd.
