Although October is the obvious month in which to release a horror movie, January tends to get its fair share as well (admittedly, not always the best ones). Next year will be no different as there are at least four horror flicks scheduled for release in January and here we have the first trailer for one of them. The Forest stars Natalie Dormer (Game of Thrones, The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 1 and 2) as a young American woman who visits Japan’s Aokigahara Forest in search of her missing twin sister. Unfortunately for her, the forest is a place where people come to commit suicide and it contains many angry and tormented souls. The Forest is directed by first-time filmmaker Jason Zada and hits theatres on Jan. 8th; check out the trailer after the jump and see what you think.
