By now you are no doubt aware that October 21st, 2015 has been dubbed “Back to the Future Day” because it is the date on which Doc and Marty arrive in the future in Back to the Future: Part II. To celebrate the occasion, Universal is releasing a new 30th Anniversary Edition of the trilogy and the box set will include some new stuff like a 64-page collectible book, a new bonus disc with 2 hours of additional content, and all 26 episodes of the animated series. Also possibly of interest is a brand new short film called Doc Brown Saves the World! with Christopher Lloyd reprising his role. Apparently he will offer an explanation as to why our version of 2015 looks so different from theirs. Pander alert! Check out a teaser for the short film after the jump and let us know what you think.
