Weekly Poll Results: Most Disappointing 2015 Summer Movie

A few months after The Avengers: Age of Ultron was voted the second best movie of 2015 so far, Film Junk readers have also named it the most disappointing movie of the summer. Polls are weird. Expectations were pretty high, which probably accounts for part of this. The Marvel blockbuster also had a lot more viewers to draw from than the second most disappointing film, Fantastic Four, which audiences avoided like the plague. Jurassic World came in third with 15% of the votes, followed by Terminator Genisys. Tomorrowland rounded out the top 5. Cameron Crowe’s Aloha was easily one of the lowest grossing movies on the list, which makes it somewhat interesting that it finished in sixth. Way down at the bottom of the list, Paul Feig’s Spy didn’t receive a single vote, so I guess it wasn’t disappointing at all! Do you agree with these results?
