Just in case you thought the Marvel Cinematic Universe wasn’t quite watered down enough, this week brings news of yet another Marvel TV project in the works over at ABC. There were rumours earlier this year that Marvel might be planning a spin-off from Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. (which, let’s face it, was already a spin-off from the Marvel movie franchise itself). Now this week it appears that the new TV project is back on the table with ABC in the process of finalizing a deal to order a pilot. The show will be reportedly be called Marvel’s Most Wanted and it will revolve around two characters that have previously appeared on Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. Hit the jump to find out what else we know about it.

According to Variety, Marvel’s Most Wanted will star Adrianne Palicki and Nick Blood as Bobbi Morse (aka Mockingbird) and Lance Hunter respectively. The duo joined the cast of Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. early on in the second season and are expected to continue to appear throughout season 3. The new show is being framed not as a spin-off but rather a continuation of the story of these two characters and their adventures together.

In addition to Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., which will return in September, there are also several other upcoming Marvel TV projects in development including a new season of Agent Carter, a new season of Daredevil, and the other upcoming Netflix shows Jessica Jones, Luke Cage, Iron Fist and The Defenders. There is also one other top secret Marvel TV project in the works from writer/producer John Ridley (12 Years a Slave). Do you have any interest in Marvel’s Most Wanted?

Not really interested in this and I havent finished this past season of Agents of Shield, but there was one episode that I felt was more exciting and far more emotionally engaging than any of the Marvel universe movies. Uh, spoilers, if anyone cares:

It was the one with the reunion between Sky and her mom and the flashback showing how Melinda had to kill a kid.
