Burnt Trailer Starring Bradley Cooper

Back when Jon Favreau’s Chef was first announced, there was talk of another competing movie with the same title from The Weinstein Company. After trying unsuccessful to get Jon Favreau to change his movie’s title, the Weinstein film is finally about to hit theatres under a slightly less obvious name. Burnt is directed by John Wells (The Company Men, August: Osage County) and stars Bradley Cooper as a bad boy / rock star chef chasing down his dream in London after nearly ruining his life with drugs.
Cooper is no stranger to this kind of material, having previously starred in the short-lived sitcom Kitchen Confidential, based on the book by Anthony Bourdain. Unfortunately, this looks like slightly more serious Oscar bait and the hot-headed chef thing has become a bit of a cliche at this point. Burnt co-stars Sienna Miller, Emma Thompson, Omar Sy, Jamie Dornan, Daniel Bruhl, Uma Thurman, Lily James and Alicia Vikander, and it hits theatres on Oct. 23rd; check out the first trailer after the jump and see what you think.
