Trumbo Trailer Starring Bryan Cranston

Bryan Cranston already has a Golden Globe and a handful of Emmys under his belt from Breaking Bad, but his next role on the big screen seems like it could potentially put him in contention for an Oscar. Trumbo is an upcoming biopic about screenwriter Dalton Trumbo, who was blacklisted in the ’40s after refusing to reveal information about Communist sympathizers in Hollywood. He still went on to write movies like Roman Holiday, Spartacus and Exodus (often under pseudonyms), and eventually helped to end the blacklisting. Directed by Jay Roach (Austin Powers: The Spy Who Shagged Me, The Campaign) and co-starring Louis C.K., Helen Mirren, John Goodman and Elle Fanning, Trumbo will premiere at TIFF before hitting select theatres on Nov. 6th.
