HBO’s Vinyl Teaser Trailer: Martin Scorsese and Mick Jagger Take Us Back to the ’70s

HBO has finally decided on a name for their upcoming ’70s rock n roll TV series from producers Martin Scorsese, Mick Jagger and Terence Winter. The show is called Vinyl and it will star Bobby Cannavale as the head of a New York-based record label looking for the next big thing. Olivia Wilde will play his wife, while Mick Jagger’s son James plays the frontman for a punk rock band called the Nasty Bits. Not much else is known about the show as of yet but this week they have released a short teaser on Instagram just to give us a sense of the look and feel of the era. Vinyl will debut on HBO sometime in 2016; check out the brief teaser trailer after the jump and see what you think.
