You may vaguely recall having seen a short TV spot for the new Tina Fey / Amy Poehler comedy Sisters during the Golden Globes back in January, but this week Universal Pictures have finally released a proper trailer for the film. The story revolves around two sisters who return to their hometown and decide to throw a huge party before their parents sell their childhood home. Although crazy party movies seem to be the go to scenario for R-rated comedies these days, I’m hopeful that Fey and Poehler will put their own unique spin on it. Directed by Jason Moore (Pitch Perfect) and written by Paula Pell (SNL, 30 Rock), the movie also co-stars Maya Rudolph, Ike Barinholtz, John Leguizamo, Dianne Wiest, John Cena and James Brolin. Sisters hits theatres on Dec. 18th; check out the trailer after the jump and let us know what you think.
