HBO’s Ferrell Takes the Field Teaser Trailer

Will Ferrell has appeared in more than his fair share of sports comedies over the years, but this one is a little bit different. At spring training this year, he managed to play ten different positions for ten real-life major league baseball teams, all in the span of a single day. The whole thing was done in the name of charity through Funny or Die, and fortunately the madness was captured on camera and will soon be presented as an HBO documentary. Ferrell Takes the Field will air on HBO on Sept. 12th at 10 pm; check out the teaser trailer after the jump and see what you think.

    Will watch it, when i can in Krautland. Krautland still misses the genius of Ferrell…….well annyone who thinks David Hasselnuss is a good actor, and turns Baywatch into the number 1 show on TV (in the 90s) still lacks certain

    parts of the brain which allows for higher functions like laughter. More Germans know of Michael Bay than of Werner Herzog.

    This didn’t really show much and I can’t see how they can sustain it for a documentary runtime. Is it going to be like that 7 days in hell mockumentary, that was 45 min only?
