It’s a very good series. I thought it ended in a very cool way with a new direction that Season 3 could go. It still works as an ending in a weird way though…

  • I don’t understand why Cameron did this

    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7LqgdNVTcRA

Did he need extra cash for Avatar 5, or what?

  • Simon

    Close enough for me Frank

  • pcch7

Well that scenario probably wouldn’t be very good for a Terminator movie since there would be no reason for the terminators to hunt a random group of people until after judgment day when the war breaks out and the go after everyone. TSCC did it right though by bringing in new characters close to Sarah and John that we didn’t know anything about. You’re definitely right about John Connor =)

  • pcch7

Not in this day and age surely?

  • pcch7

Yeah, I don’t understand why people can’t just like both. I do anyway.

  • zamarov

eh? Frank what the hell? XXL is far more of a comedy, the first one was mainly a drama

  • Simon

It would have to be Sir (now Lord) Alan Sugar who hosts the UK version of the show. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Yxi6QDwQyLU

  • Kenneth Serenyi

Unfortunately that particular episode is damaged and the video freezes in and out and gets way out of sync with the audio.

  • Kenneth Serenyi

People shit on TDKR because it’s such a colossal let down after the first two movies. TDKR was a mess from start to finish and it seemed like Nolan just threw it out there because he was under contractual obligation to do so. I really don’t understand why it gets such a free pass.

  • LordAwesome

Alan Sugar pisses on Trump from a great height.

  • DestinationThreshold

Trump should have to be a contestant on the next season of celeb apprentice. Let Ivanka host.

I kind of wish Lorry came up with his auto-letterbox-logging idea using facial recognition a few years earlier when I was poor, unemployed and desperate enough to probably give it a go..

Anyway.. your app is certainly doable buddy, if you are willing to watch films with your lights on. :-)

The problem is that no tablet or mobile device I am aware of has night vision or infrared camera on it.

    Nevertheless…
There is one actually one hardware capable to reliably detect a face in the dark… And that is the kinect so definately you could make this as a killer app for xbox1 if..somehow the retards over at microsoft gave you security clearance to load and play films from within what would be basically ..a game,

(hm.. maybe frank is right about the xbox after-all)

please keep sharing your ideas :p

    $$$$$$$$

I’m convinced Frank was drunk (or at least drinking) during this episode.

  • Isildur_of_Numenor

Stroking and sucking the handles has to be a moment for the archives. Beautiful, gracious, hilarious!

  • ReelJunkie

Apparently he didn’t get paid for this. I wouldn’t be surprised if the Cameron of today genuinely loved this movie.

  • Wow. That’s embarrassing.

  • ReelJunkie

Too scared to google Facial Rec…

  • Bob

Dead director to bring back: Edward Yang
Only seen two of his movies, YI YI and A BRIGHTER SUMMER DAY, both masterpieces. YI YI was on multiple “best of decade” lists and got a beautiful Criterion release, but he still deserved more exposure. The World Cinema Foundation, founded by Martin Scorsese, restored A BRIGHTER SUMMER DAY but still no legit video release for that movie. Sad.

Frank isn’t the only dummy. The /Filmcast all seemed to be convinced that they looked for an Asian version of Robert Patrick when casting.

I just saw the first ten mnutes myself, and while I think the subject and the first few interviews seem interesting, the director really shouldn’t have included himself in the film. After only ten minutes , I’m already tired of seeing him silently nodding in every shot with the interviewees. And his intro couldn’t be more stilted. His hand gestures are ridiculous. It seems like he really wanted to put himself onscreen, to the detriment of the doc.
Still, I’m interested in hearing Sean’s opinion, if he does watch the whole film.

  • Joel

Please go easy on Frank, I would hate to see him quit the show out of frustration.

  • Nathan Carter

Hi, long times fans of you guys, love your work. In the beginning of this podcast, you mention in passing “a new addition to the Junk family” of podcasts. I don’t know if you guys are readers or not, but I think a Book Junk would be really cool, even if it had to be hosted by a friend of yours. Do you think it’s a good idea. I would help in any way needed to make it happen or help?
