New to Theatres This Weekend: Inside Out, Dope, Manglehorn

The first big animated film of the summer is here as Pixar’s Inside Out finally hits theatres. With fantastic reviews and plenty of pent-up demand for a family feature, Inside Out should do quite well, but it still probably won’t be enough to take down reigning champ Jurassic World. Also in wide release is the Sundance hit Dope, a coming-of-age comedy and celebration of hip hop culture. In select theatres we have David Gordon Green’s indie drama Manglehorn starring Al Pacino, Cannes award winner The Tribe, and The Overnight starring Adam Scott, Taylor Schilling and Jason Schwartzman.
