New on Netflix: The Boxtrolls, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (2014), Girlhood

Netflix is wrapping up the month of May with a smattering of new titles including a couple of big 2014 releases and a few recent indie films as well. In the U.S., some of the biggest new additions are the stop motion animated film The Boxtrolls, Before I Go to Sleep starring Nicole Kidman and Colin Firth and the U.K. crime thriller Welcome to the Punch plus Quentin Tarantino’s WWII epic Inglourious Basterds. Recently added TV shows include the first season of Transporter: The Series and the new Canadian sci-fi series Between. Meanwhile, Canadians get the Michael Bay-produced Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles reboot, the Red Dawn remake starring Chris Hemsworth and the zombie comedy Life After Beth while both regions get the acclaimed French drama Girlhood.
