Steve Jobs Teaser Trailer Starring Michael Fassbender

jobs

Although Sony had a hell of a time securing a director and a lead actor for their upcoming biopic Steve Jobs, once the project changed hands over to Universal, things seemed to go a lot more smoothly. Danny Boyle is now directing the film from the script written by Aaron Sorkin and Michael Fassbender is the man playing Apple co-founder Steve Jobs himself. This week they have unveiled the first image and teaser trailer from the movie, and although it is mostly made up of audio clips, we do get our first look at Fassbender as well as Kate Winslet, Seth Rogen and Jeff Daniels. Steve Jobs hits theatres on Oct. 9th; check out the trailer after the jump and let us know what you think.

It appears Boyle, Sorkin, and Fassbender are going to show Ashton Kutcher and company what real film making is all about.

Interesting trailer that looks weirdly like a made for TV movie. Plus its weird how the characters look nothing like their real life counterparts…though great acting will/should make up for that. And I am not sure Rogen is right for playing the WOZ. He’s seems like a light weight still too me.

However I’m still interested because of Sorkin, Boyle and Fassbender and Kate Winslet. But again, the need to not cast actors or even portray them as looking like their real life counter parts is interesting and a strategy I would love to ask Boyle why he choose.

Looks like a great addition to the Steve Jobs franchise. This is the gritty reboot fans have been looking for since Kutcher’s Jobs film.
