If Kingsman: The Secret Service was about a teenage girl and the plot worked in reverse, it might look a little bit like Barely Lethal, the second feature film from director Kyle Newman (Fanboys). Hailee Steinfeld plays a special ops agent who was trained to be an assassin from a very young age, but when she yearns to be a normal teenager, she decides to fake her own death and enroll in a suburban high school. She soon finds out that the world of high school is every bit as cutthroat as the world of espionage and hilarity ensues! Sophie Turner (Game of Thrones) co-stars along with Samuel L. Jackson, Jessica Alba, Thomas Mann, and yes, Steve-O. Barely Lethal premieres on DirecTV this Thursday, April 30th before hitting select theatres on May 29th.
